Maff & Tanya’s wedding at Bassmead Manor Barns | Autumn 2016
Maff and Tanya are both big music fans and follow a wide of mix bands, they both share a love of the Indie and grunge scenes and throughout their wedding day decided to spread various favourite and classic tracks. Maff is a member of successful band who are currently taking break; but we’ve already agreed to collaborate once more when they’re back on the road, so watch this space!

In my photographs I always strive to create a connection which I hope will transport people back to the most special of moments. Couples I work with; including Maff and Tanya, usually explain how they want to see the true side of their wedding story and their wedding photographs as an honest, authentic and meaningful record. I meet and work with wedding couples who have a desire to create moments in their own way, it’s therefor my job to watch, see those moments and make photographs which are both creative and inspiring to look back on.

“…On the day of the wedding 08.10.16 at Bassmead Manor Barns, Peter was laid back and great fun, he blended in with our whole day and after a few giggles we didn’t even notice he was taking photo’s and the day flowed beautifully. Peter made the most of grabbing some beautiful photo opportunities whilst we could and took us out to some beautiful areas around the venue that we didn’t even know existed in order to get some original photographs of us as a couple. We personally loved this aspect of his spontaneity as it was creative and meant we had personal photographs that didn’t have the same backdrop as all other bride & groom’s getting married at the same venue.” – Maff & Tanya
Photographs like the one below only communicate clear connection and meaning if when look at it we feel connected as part of the scene. For Maff & Tanya there was little or no conscious awareness that they were being photographed or as to what I was doing. Why? Because even before their wedding day they had the feeling of being comfortable around me, loved my style of photography and were familiar the results they’d seen in my portfolio.
