The Haycock Hotel Wansford: I’ve known the Haycock Hotel for many years and have photographed a number of weddings there. Situated near to Peterborough and Oundle it is a popular choice for wedding couples from the Peterborough and surrounding area. The Haycock hotel is a fantastic 16th century venue on the banks of the river nene which was once served as a coach house. The Hotel has the flexibility to cater for many different wedding styles and sizes. On warmer days the gardens of the Haycock are a great place for wedding guests to wander and chat outside during the drinks reception. The Haycock’s courtyard, formal herb gardens and bridge over the river nene all serve as a wonderful back drop to wedding day photographs and are the perfect place for any bride and groom to escape their wedding party for a short while.
