This was a very special wedding day at Sheldon Manor in Wiltshire for many reasons. Firstly, Nick is my brother in law and long time friend and I’ve got to know Karen and her family from New Zealand very well over recent years. So this was a family wedding, and I was going to be on display doing my day job in full view of everyone. Furthermore, Charlie my little boy, who’s nearly two, was to be a page boy - a first for him. So it will come as no surprise, in the build up to and during the wedding day, the pressure to perform was well and truly on.

Sheldon Manor is reported to be the oldest, inhabited manor house in the UK dating back to 800AD! Thankfully most of the buildings and grounds have been updated a little since then but the character, grandeur and romance of the place is what really hits you.

I have included in this blog post perhaps the most extensive collection of images from any wedding I have been fortunate enough to shoot. I truly hope you enjoy browsing through them all. I was determined to knock this one out of the park photographically speaking; along with the added help of Sheldon Manor, an awesome wedding venue and backdrop, I planned to produce the best ever collection of images I had to date.
