Engagement Shoot for hinchingbrooke house wedding
Sam & Matt’s engagement shoot ahead of their wedding at Hinchingbrooke house this coming November prooved a great opportunity for the couple to gain some valuable time in front of the camera. We used Crowland Abbey as I often do but I mixed things up a little for them resulting in a collection of intimate, relaxed unposed shots with some bolder images and couple which hopefully have a glimmer of humour running them. Sam & Matt are actually getting married in Northern Scotland a few weeks earlier but are throwing a tea party celebration for friends and family following their wedding day. For all intents and purposes this will be another wedding day for Sam and Matt including all of the preparations and celebrations associated with any wedding day, so it was important for us to get in the swing of things ahead of time.
A pre-wedding or engagement shoot is included with all full day wedding photography commissions (optional for 7-8 hours commissions) and often serves as an exercise in confidence building as well as an opportunity to air any personal concerns whilst not under the spotlight of a wedding day.
