Laxton Long Rooms Oundle Wedding

Jen & Alan | St Peters church & Laxton long rooms – Oundle wedding

Sometimes its the little moments sandwiched between the big ones which truly represent how we feel. Those times where we exchange a glance, a smile and without the need for words  we know exactly what our soul mate is thinking. It can be almost telepathic and anyone who’s been married will tell you its quite unlike any other life experience!   (Read more in this short article about why I believe real photographs vs faked or forced ones will best tell the story of a moment.)

During Jen & Alan wedding ceremony at St Peters church in Oundle I sought to be in the right places to capture fleeting moments such as their 1st look at the top of the aisle. I especially love the moments they share immediately after the ceremony whilst Alan & Jen are walking over to and during the signing of the register. What makes it special is that guests and family where not privy to those times and of the day to that point they where first fleeting chances they had to exchange a brief couple of words with each other and they parents.

Laxton long rooms a stones throw and situated adjacent to St Peters church hosted the perfect wedding reception. Laxton long rooms is essentially a two story ancient building which is still in daily use by Oundle School. I highly recommend it to those who like Jen & Alan want the flexibility to host a great number of guests whilst inject a very personal style and atmosphere to their wedding.
