Within 5 mins of meeting Emma & Mark I knew we’d be a perfect fit, they described their wedding wanting it to be a relaxed, chilled, spontaneous and above all else fun gathering of friends and close family. I very much wanted to reveal the soul of their wedding day by shooting the things which mattered most. Preserve the raw emotion, tears and laughter which Emma & Mark would later see and relive through real, meaningful photographs. The ceremony was held at Stamford registry office with preparations at the The Bull & Swan and marquee reception at Stamfords trendy ‘The Wine Bar’ owned by close friends of Emma & Mark. The day was short by comparison to some but big on action and emotion. All in all, there was about 5 hours of non-stop shooting with wonderfully enigmatic people and a rich free flowing atmosphere. It was a day when everything came together perfectly and one where I became a trusted observer with the best seat in the house!
